Student Support

Pastoral Care

Our Senior School prides itself in offering outstanding pastoral care to students. Each member of staff is dedicated to giving students every opportunity to achieve academic excellence and share the ethos of 'whole child development'. Our teachers possess a fantastic knowledge of our curriculums and recognise the importance of creating optimal conditions for each individual to maximise their potential for attainment and progress.

Personal, Social and Health Education

Our secondary years curriculum aims to enhance our students' awareness of the world around them. Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) offers the chance to explore important local and global issues through debate, discussion and activities, each designed to instil the values that underpin our education.

PHSE is not an assessed subject; however, it cultivates the key skills of independent research, analysis and evaluation throughout Key Stages 4 and 5, and culminates in an independent study project on a topic of personal interest.

Senior School Language Programme

Our Senior School Language Programme offers four languages. English is the language of instruction at the school and it is also taught as a subject in its own right. Along with Arabic, our school's national language, students receive language tuition in Spanish, and French from the school's team of native and overseas teachers.

At this level, students may take one of two Arabic courses depending on their competency. We offer a course for first-language users and another for those seeking to refine their Arabic as an additional language. Comprehensive Arabic language tuition helps to establish language proficiency while reinforcing our school's cultural heritage.
