SAFETY TOP PRIORITY AS BSB STUDENTS RETURN

09 September 2020

As the British School of Bahrain (BSB) prepares to open its campus doors once more, it has used the extensive global experience of the Inspired educational network to shape its thorough and innovative safety procedures. The return of staff and students to the BSB campus has been a long-awaited and much sought after event, following months of extensive planning.

A BSB Education is more than just the learning that occurs within its stimulating lessons. It is the vibrancy of the School, the social interactions, the laughter and the relaxed learning environment in which all pupils can thrive. These values attract many parents to want a BSB Education for their family.

The desire to resume classroom-based lessons coupled with reassurance about the thorough safety precautions has led to parents choosing for their child to return to the BSB campus. The measures put in place to ensure the highest standards of safety mean that, in the short-term, a ‘new normal’ for lessons will be established. Students are excited by the ability to continue their education uninterrupted and rekindle their friendships at this thriving school. As discerning parents would expect from an establishment of the calibre of BSB, the School has planned meticulously for its campus reopening. The investment in technology, such as temperature scanning gates that can record 120 pupils’ temperatures every minute, has supported parents’ decisions for children to resume their learning in person while feeling happy that risks have been reduced.

BSB continues to be at the forefront of a technology-based, enriching education that nurtures all students to develop their individual characteristics and personalities. It is these aspects of the BSB’s education that opens the doors to some of the best universities and careers in the world. The British School of Bahrain (BSB) was established in 1995 is celebrating 25 years of delivering outstanding English National curriculum to students based in Bahrain. Over this last quarter-century, it has evolved and grown considerably with over 3000 students from 86 nationalities. BSB has become one of the most sought-after schools in Bahrain. BSB benefits considerably from being a proud member of Inspired, a leading global schools group operating on five continents with over 70 schools worldwide. Through this membership, BSB is able to access partnerships and programmes that individual schools cannot access, for example, the Inspired partnership with the Berkley School of Music. The British School of Bahrain’s credo is to place the student at the centre of their own education, as expressed in the School’s vision: Excellence, Responsibility, Individuality.
